Viking
Valley Hunt Club is a membership shooting preserve situated in central
Minnesota's "heart of the lakes" area in Ottertail County. With
1049 of Minnesota's famed 10,000 lakes, this is an ideal location for
a wide variety of outdoor activities in all seasons. Our members enjoy
a large comfortable lodge filled with all of the amenities you would expect.
The lodge is available for members year round for business meetings, entertaining
clients, getting away with friends, or spending some quiet time with family.
Members hunt pheasants from September to
April, on 8 fields encompassing approximately 400 acres, and have access
to docks and pontoons on Lake Jolly Ann and on private "catch and
release" Rask Lake. Viking Valley is home to one of the most challenging
and scenic fully automated sporting clays courses in the upper Midwest,
with 24 fields and 42 stations, plus 5 stand. Members shoot year round
to keep eyes sharpened for hunting, and during the spring and summer shooting
for both members and non-members is scheduled by appointment. A fun and
active sporting clays league, open to all, shoots once a month during
the summer. There are several very nice public golf courses within 20
miles of the club.
Membership at Viking Valley provides access
to all the facilities of the club. Members may reserve hunting, shooting,
lodging and other amentities. Les and Bette Bensch, owners of Viking Valley
Hunt Club, are your personal hosts. They and the staff at Viking Valley
work hard to provide members with the personal attention and outdoors
experience you expect. Click on the pheasant for information about membership
and pricing.
